Heavy-lift aerial logistics

The shortest route
is through the air.

LIFTGRID is building an end-to-end heavy-lift drone logistics service for critical industrial freight: planning the route, authorising the operation, mobilising the site and flying the load.

THE SERVICE

Not a drone courier

We remove the
access problem.

LIFTGRID is for freight that loses time, money or safety margin on the last difficult miles: wind-turbine parts above the road head, tools across a remote estate, equipment beside a transmission line, or a replacement component needed before an industrial shutdown grows.

Direct aerial route

Over the obstacle.
Not around it.

We compare the aerial route with the road, track, boat or helicopter alternative—then fly only when the operational and commercial case holds up.

Controlled payload

Pick up.
Fly. Place.

Loads can move between prepared landing areas or be lowered by winch where touching down is impractical. Weight, attachment and release are planned before take-off.

Controlled operation

Technology assists.
The crew decides.

LiDAR, radar, vision and RTK improve awareness. The operating team still owns the route, weather limits, sterile areas, contingencies and go/no-go decision.

01

WHAT WE DO

One accountable service.
Before, during and after flight.

LIFTGRID manages the work around the aircraft—not only the minutes it spends in the air.

01

Route design

We test origin, destination, terrain, airspace, people, weather and payload before deciding whether flight is the right answer.

02

Cargo engineering

Every load is weighed, measured, secured and assigned to the right aircraft configuration, hook or lifting system.

03

Authorisation

We build the operating case, procedures and evidence needed for the relevant UK CAA or European authority pathway.

04

Site mobilisation

Aircraft, batteries, charging, crew, barriers, communications and ground control travel to the operating site.

05

Aerial delivery

Point-to-point or winch delivery moves freight across the access problem, with the crew controlling every phase.

06

Repeat routes

Successful missions become measured, documented routes that can support planned maintenance and regular supply.

WHERE IT FITS

Industrial freight.
Difficult access.

The strongest starting market is planned, repeatable work where ground access is slow or disproportionate.
